Trinitytide

In the calendar of the Christian church, the time between Pentecost and Advent is Trinitytide, or the time of Trinity (roughly between the end of May and the beginning of December). Also referred to as Ordinary Time, Trinitytide is the season of growth, which is why green is our liturgical color during this season. During this time, we listen to the teaching of the prophets and apostles, and most especially to the parables and promises of Jesus. We also celebrate the examples of the saints throughout these months, remembering their lives and praying that during this time we would continue to grow and bear fruit as they did.
